The KC Classic will mark the second stop of the 2007 WWA Wake Park Series Presented by Ten-80 on Friday, August 3rd and Saturday, August 4th at KC Watersports. This stop will also include three new divisions that have been added since the first stop of the series at Cablestock back in early May. The new divisions will include Amateur Wakeskate, Novice Wakeboard, and Intermediate Wakeboard.
 
These divisions will be battling it out in qualifying rounds on Friday afternoon to land a spot in the Semi-Finals on Saturday morning. The existing divisions: Open Women, Junior Men, Pro Wakeskate and Pro-Men will be competing in Qualifying, Semi-Final, and Final rounds throughout the day and into the night on Saturday. The weekend’s events will also include a winch contest that will be held on Friday night at the Monster Energy Drink Winch Park located on-site at KC Watersports. The winch contest will consist of a wakeboard and wakeskate division with a winner-take-all prize money breakdown in a “jam” style format.
 
Coming back to defend their current title of the wake park series are Tom Fooshee, Heather Johnson, John Ruark, and Casey Haughney who all won their respective divisions at the first stop of the WWA Wake Park Series.
