This Thursday we have a hell of a gift for you. We are pleased to present one of the greatest discoveries on the internet so far this year, Boardumb. A wakeboarding film by www.rookproductionsmedia.com from 1998, right in the middle of the “new crew’s” prime, this is by far one of our fondest memories of wakeboarding as we look back. Enjoy riding by some of the greatest wakeboarders our sport has ever seen: Scott Byerly, Steve Wahlman, Sara Cline, Chase Heavener, Thomas Horrell, Matt Staker, Cobe Mikacich and many others.

I’m stoked you guys posted this. I had always wanted to see this video.
The good old days of pop punk! It’s funny (and awesome) to watch Byerly ride to classic Blink 182

That Mute Mobe by Steve W in the intro is sick! I forgot how he used to kill those.

Scott Byerly on a wakeboard. Indy TS Rolls to Revert. Steve Wahlman. Wake Tech. Guttermouth. Thomas Horrell. Elephants. That one Riverfenix song. Indy Half Cab Front Flips. Sport Nautiques. Randy Harris’ melan scarecrow. Don’t pull me down, this is where I belong.
My stokemeter is at 11 right now.

Man I love this video. Thanks to Staker and Rook for making it happen! The bat-tail Byerly days were insane. Wahlman has always been my favorite wakeboarder, and seeing Thomas’ front to fakie still gives me a half chub.

So great! Landed my first 7 on the bat tail. Now they make a nice bench on the dock. Wahlman has a section on lake Pickett where he destroys it on nbn board I believe? Was the vid called for what it’s worth? Anybody confirm or answer that?

wakeboarding, maybe. But the audio and visual effects we’re for sure far ahead of their time in this film.

Colin, you are right the video was For What It’s Worth. Shaun Murray had a sick part in that also.

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each and every time a comment is added I get four emails with the exact same comment. Is there any way you possibly can remove me from that service? Thanks!
