Trever Maur – West Coast Wonder
When you grow up under the tutelage of riders like Mike Schwenne and Derek Cook, expectations can be pretty high. You think learning new tricks is hard? Try learning new tricks and then making them look better than those guys’. Trever Maur has done that and then some, keeping the Delta – long the epicenter of style focused riding – at the forefront of unique wakeboarding. When you watch guys like Trever ride you watch not because of the difficulty, but because you’ve never seen anything exactly like it. Any pro can learn new tricks. Few pros can make them their own. Trever and the rest of his buddies on the Delta Force have been pushing that concept for the last couple years, and it shows in this video.
Stay tuned to alliancewake.com and look out for the next issue of Alliance Wakeboard Magazine, where we’ll have a feature on the one-and-only Delta and the guys who now call it home.
