Two Teams Tied as Nine Divisions Finish Finals at the Air Nautique Wake Games

Orlando, Fla. – Qualifying pro and amateur wake athletes gathered at the Orlando Watersports Complex yesterday evening to be drafted onto one of 10 teams for the Air Nauituqe Wake Games, presented by ROCKSTAR team challenge. At the Draft, 10 preselected captains selected nine riders to field a team with a mix of male and female, pro and amateur wake athletes.

Starting today, each of the 10 squads began collecting points toward the team challenge, as nine of the amateur divisions completed their final rounds. Team Harf and Team Adkison are currently tied for first place with 345 points, as both teams had four riders compete in today’s finals. Teams Soven and Team Derome trail behind in third place, tied at 280 points.

All 10 teams will continue to vie for points in tomorrow’s finals, where the remaining divisions will battle it out on the water on the final day of the Air Nautique Wake Games, presented by ROCKSTAR. The team with the highest total score will win the team challenge.

The Air Nautique Wake Games, presented by ROCKSTAR concludes tomorrow, Sunday, May 2, with athletes hitting the water at 9 a.m. and finishing at 4 p.m.
