Quarter Pipe Sunday went down in Hydrous at Allen Station. The Hydrous owners were one of the first guys in business who saw the big potential on this System 2.0 feature invented by UNIT Parktech.
Local riders like Cody Johnson love their Quarter Pipe and hit it day by day. Like Hydrous, more and more System 2.0 spots upgrade their rail setup with a Quarter Pipe and make local kids really good at it like Cody is. Now a days the UNIT Parktech Quarter Pipe is a must have feature for a 2 tower cable business.

coming from snowboarding it looks so amateur to watch these guys do such little simple tricks lol, though i know a quarter pipe would be different wakeboarding!

Yeah have to agree some of the grabs were legit but I’m not very impressed by the quarterpipe. Just another obstacle to run over on our wakeboards though and I’m sure its a blast to hit.

Something tells me you would need a very dangerous level of speed to make this obstacle look like snowboarding. Not sure if the 2.0 is capable of that speed either… That might be the whole problem- it looks like you slow down way too fast. I think if you increased the speed the results would look a lot different

Yeah, I appreciate the thought and effort, but it just doesnt look good. Not to say it can’t look good, but no one’s there yet. Soon enough, I’m sure.

First off there was zero riding from cody johnson in this edit!!! It was James Windsor on the Liquid force and Brenton Priestly on the Byerly.
Not saying just saying… Cody Kills it on the pipe and everything else!!! Maybe change the caption so cody doesnt get Zeached AGAIN LOL!!!
