Mahalo you shredders. We’re back. We’re better. We’re wetter than ever. Wakefest 2015 is shaping up to be the biggest, baddest, nastiest wakeboarding competition to grace the collegiate scene with its steezy grabs and dizzy spins since… well… 2014.

On April 18th at the South Shore of Lake Wauburg in beautifully swampy Gainesville Florida, The University of Florida wakeboarding team will be hosting their annual fundraiser, Wakefest. Open to all UF students, alumni, and faculty as well as students hailing from other school, this year’s event will be quite literally… the cat’s pajamas. Divisions range from beginner to outlaw, as well as women’s, wakeskate, and wakesurf divisions. The event will host live music, food, donation ticket giveaways, and THE BEST collegiate wakeboarding on this side of the Mississippi… and on the other side too.

Whether or not you like to wakeboard, the event is open to all to come out, enjoy the atmosphere, and bask in the glory that is UF Wakeboarding.

Registration for the event is available VIA ufwake.com, under “Events” tab. $25 to enter, $5 per additional division entered.
