As all boat comp… Same riders, same tricks, no poke, no grabs… 🙁

so you are telling me that at 2:16 that is a standard nose grab bs 5? Didn't seem to be the same rider or trick to me.

Is Kyle Alberts back on a HL?

Wassup: Ben G at 1:46… not a typical contest trick in my opinion. Super stylish.

it is qualifying rounds which means the best tricks usually don't go down..but we can say the same about wakeskate..some of the top wakeskate guys have been doing the EXACT same runs for 3 to 4 years now

Its a lot harder to do what these guys are doing than to do grabs. Give any of the people in this list one set to go out and do whatever grab you ask of them and they'll do it for you. They can. Its easy for them. That's what you are forgetting, or not giving them credit for, or misjudging.. hating..whatever you want to call it.
also keep in mind, this is 4 hrs of wakeboarding cut to 2 minutes. Benny G did the sickest method I've ever seen that day and all the other riders included at least 1-2 grabbed basics tricks in their runs.
Personally I'd rather see Rusty land t/s 9, sw t/s 9, off axis b/s 7 followed by the rest of his badass run in the space it takes most people to do 1-2 jumps than see Rusty go out and do a melan grab. When you see the lines of tricks people pull off its really impressive!
Also, its a lot more challenging, fun, and rewarding for us to stick a sweet, intense pass of the gnarliest tricks we know than to go out and just do grabs. that's boring. The point of the contest is to see who is the best at wakeboarding.
Other riders have yet to step up and beat these guys. That's why you see the same ones.
