Tampa, FL – McCormick’s wakeboard cable park played host to the second stop of the Monster Energy Drink Wake Park Triple Crown presented by Alliance Wakeboard Magazine. It started out as the hottest day of the year and ended up the rainiest, but between the blazing sun and flashes of lightning we saw unbeatable water conditions that made for some of the best riding Tampa has ever seen. The obstacles only division was full of Orlando natives who made the trek down I-4 for the opportunity to score some cash doing what they do best. Brenton Priestley, Erik Ruck, Chris O’Shea, Shane Bonifay and of coarse the little big man Tom Foshee all turned heads as they boosted off the kickers and combo’ed up and down the lake getting down on McCormick’s newest rail, the up gap down thing-a-ma-jig…The pro men (including air tricks) division was also going off with Marc Shuster and Tom Fooshee stealing the show. Check back tomorrow for all the action from day 2 and final results!
