WakeFest 2015
Look! In the sky! Is it a bird? A plane? Nah… That’s Gator Wake riders sending some steezy hoochie glides. In April the boys and girls from Gainesville hosted their annual fundraiser WakeFest, the best Wakeboarding contest on this side of the Atlantic. Boasting an attendance of over 800, this years WakeFest set the bar high for years to come. Take a look at the video from their event, showing off live music, great riding, and an amazing crowd.
Speaking of years to come, WakeFest is making this year’s appearance a semester early, coming back to Gainesville on October 10th. The contest will be once again open to all UF students, and all are welcome to come support. Hosted at Lake Wauburg just off of UF’s beautifully landlocked campus, the event will run from 9AM to 5PM.
