Westside Wednesdays: West Side Weather Report

One day it’s 80 and sunny, the next it’s rainy and snowing. My emotions are so discombobulated. Should we go wakeboarding? Should we go snowboarding? Life is so difficult sometimes. I finally decided to just float along with whatever the care bears decide to send down to us. Following the warm sunny days, the we had non-stop rain and snow. We have been fortunate to enjoy these conditions in the Sierra and San Bernardino Mountain ranges. As we were driving down the mountain in the 50 mph blizzard, the radio reported warnings about tornado alerts in Orange County as the waves were pumping over the piers, and flash flood alerts were forewarned. Perfect conditions for tuning up the winch and getting it ready for the the downpour.– Melissa Marquardt
