When you think of Omaha, Nebraska, what is the first thing you think about? For me it’s Omaha Steaks, but now I can add the Saddle Creek Records rockers Beep Beep to the list. They might not be good to eat, but their music is fulfilling. Beep Beep’s newest album Enchanted Island is a voyage through places and sounds that you’ve probably never ventured. Uniquely soft lyrics, twang guitar rifts and what I think is a hint of jazz is blended together to create this mystical album. Give Enchanted Island a try, it might be that new something you were looking for. Stand out tracks include “Goodbye Sunshine”, “The Whispering Waves” and my favorite “Mermaid Struggle”.
