I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of indie-rock bands from the UK and Foals are one good reason why. This 5-piece crew of musical geniuses can really do it all. Take one quick listen to their debut album Antidotes, and you will hear their talents burst out. Foals blend a hint of Bloc Party mixed with Franz Ferdinand and a side of Klaxons; put it in a cup and shake to play tunes untouched by most. Heavy drums, synth and afro-beats are standard in almost every song but each track is uniquely different from the previous. It would do me no good to tell you a few of the stand out tracks on the album because each song is so impressive. Not a fan of indie music, well give Foals a try anyway, they might just change your mind.
