SHECKLER, PUDWILL, & AMBUSH BOARD CO. LAUNCH KENNESAW SKATEPARK

KENNESAW, Ga. (November 19, 2013) – Skateboarders and enthusiasts of all ages are invited to the official unveiling of the 40,000-square-foot skateboard plaza at Swift-Cantrell Park on Saturday, November 23. The Kennesaw Skatepark will host skateboarding giants Ryan Sheckler and Torey Pudwill, who are set to demo the course first-hand with the Ambush Board Co. team at 10:00 a.m.

“After years of advising and working closely with the City of Kennesaw, it’s amazing to finally see this idea come to fruition,” explains Ambush Board Co. GM, Lee Elliott. “Not only will the community reap the benefits of the skatepark’s offerings, it will also establish a new standard and skill-set for the local skateboarder here in Cobb Co.”

The premier skatepark features terrain for all skill levels including a Street League® certified plaza, a flow section, and plenty of winding transition. The site is optimized to host small and large scale events including, but not limited to professional skateboarding contests, Summer camps, and private lessons.

Located at 3140 Old 41 Highway, the Kennesaw Skatepark will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. Helmets are required for skateboarders under the age of 15 and there is no charge to use the skatepark. For timely updates and coverage, follow @ambushboardco on twitter and Facebook.
