would you ever shave your head?  No! Because I’m like Sampson, if you cut my hair I wouldn’t be able to ride

They may call Joe the Joker, but he sure isn’t a joke on a wakeskate. Whether he’s behind a boat, winch, cable or ski, his riding will blow you away. I’ll never forget the first time meeting and riding with Joe. He pulled up in his grandpa’s pimp caddy and off we were to ride. Almost os soon as he hit the water he threw a 3 shuv, kickflip, varial flip re entry line, then when wake to wake a couple times before throwing a perfectly clean wake to wake kickflip. My jaw dropped, right then I knew he was a rider to watch.

I don’t think I have ever ridden with someone who as fun to watch as Joe is, and not only on a wakeskate, but a skateboard as well. Give him a vert ramp, a skateboard and helmet (no shoes) and he’ll be doing back flips and gymnast plants before you can say, “Where are your shoes?!?!” Joe is by far one of my favorite people to ride with. He’s definitely always the loudest cheerleader in the boat and always brings everyone’s spirits up. He loves wakeskating more than I thought was possible. No matter what he is always smiling, cheering you on, and bringing a fresh positive vibe to the situation. Even if it’s the choppiest day ever he’ll be ready to ride ASAP.

The only place for Joe to go now is up. His consistency of hammer dropping is a force to be reckoned with. Most recently Joe went on tour and dominated the USA national championship for cable. Watch out for a slew of tricks coming from Joe that have never been done or maybe even thought of before, by anyone else.
