“The Welsh Wakeboard Open 2010 was a fantastic event and attracted capacity entries. The atmosphere was really relaxed although the competition was certainly hot, particularly in the Men’s Open Division. This year’s event promises to be even better as Glasfryn Wakeparc now has three System 2.0 cables and the Oshea Wall Rides which will really test the riders and be a great spectacle to watch.” Commented Jonathan Williams-Ellis, Owner of Glasfryn Parc.

Glasfryn Wakeparc, which was the first wake park to open in Wales when it opened in July 2010, is part of Glasfryn Parc, a large activity centre on the A499 just outside Pwllheli. During the Welsh Wakeboard Open all of Glasfryn Parc’s other activities will be available including their go karts, quad bikes, ten pin bowling, soft play centre, bar and café.

The Welsh Wakeboard Open is sponsored by O’Shea, Oakley, Skullcandy, Reef, Jacksy, Abersoch Watersports , Fatboy and Industry Wake Parks.
