Wakestock and MasterCraft Join Forces for the 2011 Event!

MasterCraft will be the official tow boat of Wakestock 2011 in Abersoch, North Wales

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wakestock are extremely happy to announce that the 2011 event will be towed by MasterCraft Boats. The latest X2 will be towing the world’s best riders in Pwllheli Marina on 8th and 9th July. The pro qualifier is set for Friday 8th and the pro finals will be on Saturday 9th July. With over $30,000 prize money on offer you can be sure the standard of wakeboarding will be of the highest order.

Wakestock are stoked to have MasterCraft joining the event, and can now sleep at night in the knowledge that a great wake will be provided for the wakeboarding talent on show. MasterCraft will be present on the North Quay at Pwllheli Marina with some of the very latest 2011 MasterCraft models on display. They also have a brand new line of UK designed MasterCraft clothing and outerwear which you will be able to check out.

The MasterCraft Owners Club will be joining in the fun and games all weekend, and will be on the water watching the wakeboarding from the comfort of their own boats. Overnight storage and berthing is available at Pwhelli Marina for all members of the MasterCraft Owners Club. During the boat competition the Owners Club will be moored up next to each other and it is sure to be one big floating party! On Sunday the Owners Club will be driving the 5 mile trip to Abersoch Beach and mooring up to watch the Big Air competition. The Big Air competition sees two WaveRunners tow riders over a kicker and the best trick wins the money. In case witnessing the world’s finest riders isn’t enough for the MasterCraft Owners Club then perhaps wakeboarding in the crystal blue waters of Abersoch and the Llyn Peninsular will do!

The boat competition at Wakestock is primarily an invite only event but there are a few limited places on offer via a new scouting system. There are up to six places in the Wakestock boat competition available to riders with the appropriate skills and talent.  The Wakestock scouts will be at the first two stops of the AOD Tour. The first stop is at LDB Wake School on 30th April and the second stop is at Quayside Wake and Ski on 28th May. The scouts will make their decision after the second stop and the up to six places are open to riders with the required talent and skills.
