The Body Glove Moxie Pro Series is Back
The women’s-only wakeboarding competition will continue to grow in 2021

Encinitas, Calif. (May 14, 2021) — The 2021 Body Glove Moxie Pro Series launches into its second year with three events planned for the coming summer. The competitions will highlight incredible performances from the world’s best women in wakeboarding through online and live events. The second-annual Body Glove Moxie Pro Series is the first professional wakeboarding series exclusively supporting the women of wakeboarding. This event series perpetuates the voice and platform of women participants across the globe for both boat and cable disciplines showcasing their talent, style, camaraderie, lifestyle and tenacity. All of this is made possible through a historic partnership between Alliance MultiMedia and Body Glove, a strong supporter of women in action sports.
The Moxie Pro Series offers the opportunity for all wakeboarding women worldwide to participate. The series will start with two digital events featuring videos submitted by competitors. The videos will showcase the athletes’ riding lines, first cable and then boat. The final event is scheduled to run live in Atlanta in August. The final event will also be the culmination of the competitive series and feature onsite activities like yoga and stand-up paddle sessions led by Body Glove. More specifics on the final event will be released at a later date.
Moxie is the perfect description for the professional women wakeboarders today. These athletes pursue wakeboarding while actively growing a community dedicated to progressing the sport and supporting one another.

Body Glove has doubled down in 2021 to help Alliance make this all-women’s professional wakeboarding series even larger. The women athletes profoundly supported the Moxie Pro in 2020 as the first event series of its kind. It is an incredible time for Body Glove to grow their support of the Moxie Pro Series to help make this happen.

Contest Format
Start Date
The filming window opens TODAY, Friday May 14th so you can start filming your lines NOW!
Judges
Lines will be judged by professional women wakeboarders and industry icons – Angelika Schriber, Melissa Marquardt and Sina Fuchs
Cable
Riders are charged with submitting one consecutive, features only 5 trick line with at least one kicker hit, but no more than 2 kicker hits.
Boat
Riders are charged with submitting one consecutive 6 trick line with at least one Less Than 5 move (the Less Than 5 Move is defined as anything less than a 540 rotation that is not inverted; straight airs, 180’s, 360’s. The goal here is to promote style and be relatability).
Final Event
Live onsite event with boat and cable events and a Women’s “Day at the Lake” celebration to include a Women’s Learn to Ride day, as well as Yoga and SUP instruction. All of this in addition to the Moxie Pro Series closing celebration recognizing all of the individual event winners and crowning our series champion.
