Jacob Valdez – DOG DAYZ
Jacob Valdez is one dedicated dude. Not only was Jacob filming a full length section for Dog Dayz but the guy had a full time job working for the union, “construction.” He would work a hard full week, jump in his car drive 8 hours and have 2 days to stop a couple tricks, then drive back home and be at work by the next morning . Jacob did this routine all summer. Infact, the opening Bomb Drop clip… That was filmed 15 minutes after he got off work. Just showed up, work attire, lunch pale in hand, and jumped into a 18 GNAR drop. The whole crew had a blast filming this video, but something about Jacob’s fire for his section pushed everyone to ride hard when he was around. Dudes got skillzzzz.

Have you ever done a wrap trick behind the boat Hahaha?

You clearly missed the point of the film. Yes a lot of other pro riders could do those tricks but it's all about STYLE!!!! Not everyone can make them look as good as he did.

The point is about community and what it takes to ride regularly on the West Coast. Jacob is the direct opposite of silver-spoon wakeboarding and 100% deserving of the Dog Dayz opener. I'm guessing he could care less if you appreciate his riding or'not.

Thanks Corey! For all the support. Always. Was there filming with Jake most of the time. He only had the chance to wakeboard when he filmed. landing new tricks every time he filmed. So much talent and such a sick part. Guess you have to wakeboard to know the difficulty and style of each trick.
