Coming Up: Austin Armstrong
OWC’s up and coming rider Austin Armstrong steals the spot as this month’s rider of the month. Austin is an Orlando native who gets out to shred OWC almost every single day. When he isn’t goofing off with his wakeboarding crew or the staff, he hits the water and is a force to be reckoned with. Austin has only been riding the cable for 3 years now and the kid totally slays it. Austin is also is no stranger to competitions, he took away a 3rd place finish in his first contest, the National Points Chase in 2013. Austin won Slider spectacular 2014 here at OWC in the intermediate division and this year at the 2015 National Points Chase he decided to give Wakeskating a go and he ended on the top of the podium in the 1st place spot. Austin is a 9th grade student at Cornerstone Charter Academy and is sponsored by his father Dallas and mother Lori. We are really looking forward to all the Austin will bring to the wakeboarding industry in the years to come!
