To say Brian Grubb has wakeskated all over the world isn’t an exaggeration — in fact, it’s a bit of an understatement. From skipping through rice pools and shredding snow in Bosnia and Herzegovina to grinding ice in Cape Cod, the wakeskater is constantly on the hunt for new spots to shred.

The latest? The famous Cleopatra Pool in Pamukkale, Turkey, which is a man-made pool fed by natural hot springs and filled with ruins dating back to the seventh century, when Turkey was part of ancient Greece.

During the day it’s open for people to bathe and enjoy the “champagne water,” but Grubb and friends got special permission to shred the spot before opening hours, and it was quite the session. Check out the video above to see what went down.
