2013 WWA Wake Park World Championships

2013 WWA Wake Park World Championships hosted by Al Forsan International Sports Resort

Once again riders from all over the planet embarked to Abu Dhabi for this year's Wake Park Worlds hosted by the Al Forsan International Sport Resort. With over 20 countries participating and representing, each division offered legit trick for trick battles. Standouts included USA's very own and 2010 ROTY Tom Fooshee, Candy Man Daniel Grant THI, Matty Hasler AUS, James Windsor AUS,  Angelika Schriber SA, Courtney Angus AUS and local shredder Omeir Saeed UAE. Each offered their own unique style and navigation of the park.

Abu Dhabi is an amazing country with world class resorts and attractions not to mention some of the best sunrises and sunsets on the planet. If getting there is truly half the fun then this year's sponsor Etihad Airways takes offense to a flight experience of half measures. In all our years of flying across the globe we've never had the pleasure of experiencing such an amazing airline. From the seating to service, there is truly no better way to fly to the UAE. Like all good hosts, riders and industry affiliates were also invited to participated in a proper karting grand prix with Matty Hasler taking a well deserved P1. Al Forsan completed the weekend by throwing a party that rivals any Las Vegas DJ performance and stage. One could spend an entire month riding in the drinking quality water of Al Forsan's cable lakes but you might want to take advantage of the additional opportunities the resort has to offer as well.
