The Sonic is your perfect entry-level board to elevate the game of the newbies on the boat. A soft and light traditional foam core along with the classic shape makes it more forgiving, perfect for beginners to intermediate surfers. It really seems to grab the wave allowing you to control your speed with ease. It was very loose slashing the wave with average pop. Although it was on the slow side, it stayed in the wave with ease proving it’s a great starter board. Equipped with tail to nose traction, you won’t have to worry about slipping a step. We like spending more time surfing than worrying about our equipment.
