The 8th Annual FreezeRide at Texas Ski Ranch looks to be one of the most interesting events ever at TSR. With most Texas schools closed today (Friday) due to snow and ice most would think we might cancel or postpone the event. Are they postponing the Superbowl in Dallas, I don’t think so. This isn’t Philadelphia and the show will go on! TSR Freezeride is alive and well!

The sun is shining and the snow is melting and tomorrow is supposed to be sunny again with temps in the 60’s. I’m not saying you should leave your wetsuit or drysuit at home but don’t be afraid to come out to watch or compete in the first tournament of the season at TSR. There will be five different divisions, the same as the showdown summer series. (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Pro and Wakeskate) We will also be having a pro event on the boat lake that will have a division for both wakeboard and wakeskate.

In between events TSR will be running test drives in the 2011 line of MasterCraft boats as part of the TSR Open House. The cable will be open to the public for FREE when the event is not going on. The Boardshop will showcase it’s 2011 Spring line in a fashion show at 2pm! The skatepark and rockwall will also be open for FREE. Last, but not least, we will also have FREE hot dogs. Then, to cap it all off, a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament will follow the event.
