Anarchy’s (http://www.anarchyeyewear.com/) heritage has always included supporting individuals.  This summer, Anarchy is releasing their first ever limited edition artist series of sunglasses. Four distinct styles of art blend with four of the latest styles of eyewear to create wearable limited edition collectables.

Each participant in the artist series was chosen because of their influence and involvement in the action sports and the cultures surrounding it.  Beginning in May, we’ll be releasing info on each artist’s signature sunglass, for which 300 limited edition pieces will be created. In May we saw the kick off launch with our Brian Ewing x Anarchy Iniquity project. Brian’s illustrations have appeared everywhere from the New Yorker to pro-model skateboard decks to gig posters for such notables as Dinosaur Jr., Slash and Flogging Molly. More info on Brian can be found here: http://www.brianewing.com

Hydro74 x Anarchy Status

Orlando based Hydro74 (aka Joshua M. Smith) is the second artist to be a part of the Anarchy Artist Series and he lent his talents to Anarchy’s Status model.

The driving force behind Brass Tack Apparel (http://brasstackapparel.com/), Hydro74 has contributed art to a variety of brands, including Adidas, Burton Snowboards, Hasbro, Billabong, Lucas Films, DK Bicycles and Supra.

The Hydro74 x Anarchy Status features Joshua’s notable illustrative collaboration of unlike images and patterns.

Just 300 of the new Hydro74 x Anarchy Status sunglasses were made. You can get them on Anarchy’s site (http://www.anarchyeyewear.com/products/anarchy-status.html) or through finer Anarchy retailers. You can check out more of Hydro74’s work here: http://www.hydro74.com/
