Eight Athletes Win Titles
At Cable Wakeboard National Championships

Austin Hair and Meagan Ethell win pro divisions

POLK CITY, Fla. – Eight athletes won titles Sunday at the 2012 Cable Wakeboard National Championships at the Wake Zone Cable Park in Oklahoma City, Okla. More than 35 of the nation’s top cable wakeboard riders competed in the event, which included a cash prize purse of $12,300 for the pro divisions.

Austin Hair (Orlando, Fla.) and Meagan Ethell (Orlando, Fla.) won the Pro Men and Pro Women titles, respectively, and earned automatic invitations to represent the U.S. Cable Wakeboard Team at the 2012 IWWF Cable Wakeboard World Championships, Nov. 9-11, in Manila, Philippines.

Other athletes winning national titles were: Brady Patry (Edmond, Okla.), Boys Under 15; Michael Bank (Boca Raton, Fla.), Junior Men; Greg Branch (Guthrie, Okla.), Masters Men (30+); Jay Wade, Veteran Men (40+); Trent Skeen (Oklahoma City, Okla.), Open Men; and Noah Flegel (Lighthouse Point, Fla.), Wakeskate.

The tournament was presented by Jack in the Box, Epic Boats, Wake Zone and Wakeworld. The event will be featured as part of the Alt Games Highlight Show Presented by Jack in the Box® airing on the CBS Television Network on Saturday, July 15 (2 p.m. EDT).
