LOS ANGELES, CA – FUEL TV, the only network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports, is excited to announce that the country’s largest cable company, Comcast, has begun offering the channel in the mountain region of Colorado. This will bring FUEL TV’s mix of exciting snowboarding, skateboarding, BMX, freestyle motocross, surfing, and wakeboarding shows to customers in the Rocky Mountain state.

“Comcast is an incredible partner for FUEL TV,” says CJ Olivares, FUEL TV General Manager. “They recognize that young teens and adults are embracing the action sports lifestyle and FUEL TV is their go-to entertainment destination. We know the Comcast subscribers in Colorado will be excited to have our network available because our programming highlights and compliments their passions for snowboarding, skiing, and skateboarding.”

“We believe FUEL TV is a great addition to our line-up of sports programming we offer customers in our mountain markets,” said Mike Trueblood, vice president of Comcast Colorado’s mountain systems. “FUEL TV offers the best in action sports lifestyle programming to a passionate customer base in this region, and the network compliments our other sports offerings.”

The network will be rolling out on Comcast systems in Aspen, Avon/Vail, Summit County/Breckenridge, Steamboat Springs, Glenwood Springs, Granby, Rifle, and Silt.

FUEL TV will be available on Comcast channel 409 in these mountain communities, as part of its Sports and Entertainment Tier, which also offers Fox Soccer Channel, Outdoor Channel, SPEED, Big Ten Network, CBS College Sports Network, and Fox College Sports, among others.

FUEL TV’s programming is perfect for the Colorado region, as mountain enthusiasts will surely enjoy the network’s newest series “The Adventures of Danny & The Dingo,” featuring two-time Olympic Silver Medalist snowboarder Danny Kass and his energetic sidekick The Dingo, which premiered Tuesday, September 30 at 9:00 pm MT in the “Snow Pack” programming block. Another FUEL TV hit program, “The Standard Snowboard Show,” returns for its fifth season on November 25th, 2008.

Just in time for the Colorado Comcast launch, FUEL TV’s Fall 2008 season offers the biggest line-up of new series to date, and includes “Built To Shred” on Sunday nights at 9:00 pm MT. This show is the world's first build-and-ride sports show featuring top skateboarders, BMXers, FMXers and surfers. Stars Ronnie Renner, Drake McElroy, Tommy Clowers and young gun Lance Coury embark on a 3,500-mile FMX freeriding odyssey across the Southwestern United States

FUEL TV’s favorite skateboard series, “The Captain & Casey Show,” is back on Fridays at 9:00 pm MT. This season Captain and Casey take it up a notch by interviewing such heavy hitters in the skateboard world as Paul Rodriguez, Brian Anderson, Rob Welsh, and Stefan Janoski, just to name a few.
