How can waterskiing over a six foot ramp at 70mph and flying through the air 200+ feet get anymore exciting?
How can we get people out to see this and how can we make these water sports more accessible? The answer
is simple. Do it in the dark.

The LA Night Jam III presented by MasterCraft is now in its third edition and more progressive than ever
featuring the 2010 line of MasterCraft Boats towing record breaking ski jumpers on Lake 1 and a Sesitec 2.0
cable system for demos and on Lake 2.

The 2.0 cable system was developed to learn to ski and wakeboard with out the aide of a boat. Designed with
the option of continuous riding, progress moves quickly. This system is a great compliment to a full cable
system or as a private back yard set up. Add a few obstacles in the mix and you’re set! Wake Park Project will
be on site at the LA Night Jam III doing free demonstrations that evening only.

The LA Night Jam is essentially an extreme water sports competition along side a family festival. There will
be live music by Bearfighter and Above Me performed on the Mockler Beverage Budweiser bandstand as well
as tunes from DJ Otto playing all night. Sammy’s grill, Domino’s Pizza, and Dippin’ Dots will be onsite for
your eating and drinking pleasures. There will be performances from Baton Rouge’s own PyroVixen and the
Flying Dragons Skydive team.

General Admission is $20 per carload at the gate or VIP tickets can be purchased in advance online at
www.lanightjam.com for $50. VIP includes free parking for your carload, free food and drinks, shade, seating
and access to the finalist enclosure area. VIP sponsors include Raisin’ Canes, sCoca-cola, Domino’s Pizza,
Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka and Budweiser.

Corporate Sponsors include: MasterCraft Boats, Bennett’s Waterski School, Global Marine Insurance,
Connelly/CWB, Mockler Beverage, Hancock Bank, Lane Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge Orthopedic,
Stokes Skis, Napa Auto Parts, All Star Scion, Coca-Cola, Indmar and E.Federal.

Come on out and enjoy the fun.

Saturday June 5th. Gates open at 5pm.

How do we make waterskiing a spectator sport? More crowd interaction, more excitement, more
extreme, more danger!? This is what three essential waterski industry guys sat down to ponder one
evening by a beautiful lakeside sunset: Jay Bennett of Bennettʼs Waterski and Wakeboard School,
Aarne Clow of Mastercraft Boats, and Chris Sullivan of Radar Skis. “How can we make this better?”

Professional Waterski Jumpers fly at a 6ʼ ramp at 70mph and soar through the air over 200ʼ in
distance… How do make THAT more exciting!? Well, sitting there at sunset, the answer was simple.
Turn out the lights! Lets host a competition at night! And thus, the LA Night Jam began to develop.

Only a handful of ski sites around the word have attempted such a setting. It is quite dangerous and
a little difficult to persuade the athletes that this is actually GOOD for their sport. With the
masterminds of Jay Bennett and professional extreme distance jumper Freddy Krueger, the lighting
was tried, tested and strategically locked down into prime position. The skier comes flying out of the
darkness, soars through the air and lands safely with out being blinded.

The crowds at the 2007 INT National Championships, hosted at Bennettʼs Waterski and Wakeboard
School would be the test group. Their Saturday night entertainment, little did they know, was just the
teaser for the most successful stop on the MasterCraft Pro Tour the following season. With a captive
audience already in place, we only had to invite potential future sponsors (or VIPs from town) to join
in on the action.

The reaction was incredible as you can imagine. It was talked about and built upon and after months
and months of blood sweat and tears the 2008 LA Night Jam came to be. With shorelines packed out
full of vendors, live entertainers, professional athletes, music, drinks and food the legendary LA Night
Jam was officially born. Media coverage came from 104X radio commercials and a live broad cast
from the boat, WBRZ morning shows, Cox TV commercials, the advocate fun section, and 225
magazine.

After drawing a crowd of 4,000 general public spectators, and being the most successful stop on the
MasterCraft Professional Waterski tour in 2008, the LA Night Jam II in 2009 was above and beyond!
Bringing in nearly 6,000 spectators and taking on over 70 sponsors, the LA Night Jam III (2010) is
well on its way to making another huge hit in the Baton Rouge area. With a whole new show, new
boats, new bands, and even some surprise appearances, The LA Night Jam III presented by
MasterCraft Boats is sure to be the most memorial night of the summer.
