ROSSEAU, Ontario (March 25, 2011) – Beginning in June, Muskoka Woods will be stepping up their already well established wakeboard program by partnering with Pride Marine Group and Nautique to launch MUSKOKAWAKEBOARDING.COM. Included in this partnership will be the Muskoka Wakeboard programs previously known as ‘Muskoka Custom Clinics’, ‘Pop School’ and ‘Basecamp’.

Muskoka Woods, known for their unique and specialized summer camp activity offerings, has long partnered with Pride Marine Group and Nautique in their own wakeboard and water ski program.  From its beginnings as a water ski camp, Muskoka Woods has continued the tradition for over 30 years, raising-up young riders, some continuing on to compete at a pro level. “To say Pride Marine Group is excited about increasing our alliance with Muskoka Woods would be an understatement.  We look forward to continuing being know as experts in water sports in Ontario.” Paul Nickel, President Pride Marine Group Muskoka Woods will use the former Basecamp facilities to host their already existing WAKE-X program for kids ages 10-17.   For those itching to hit sliders and don’t fit into that age category, Muskoka Wakeboarding will also be opening up the slider park at Pride of Rosseau to the public, around camp hours.  For a fee, local and visiting riders alike will be able to ride the slider park and/or receive direction from certified instructors.

For riders of all ages not enrolled at Muskoka Woods, DOCK CAMP will offer Wakeboard and Water Ski Lessons at Pride Marine locations on Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau, and Lake of Bays.  Trained drivers and instructors will be on hand at each of these locations seven days a week, ready to offer lessons by the day or by the hour.
