Prize Purse for the Monster Energy WWA Wake Park Triple Crown Presented by Aktion Parks Announced, Monster Army to Support the Amateur Divisions and offer Cash to Amateur Podium Finishers

Alliance MultiMedia – Cardiff CA, (March 16th, 2015) – The professional prize purse for the kick off of the 2015 Monster Energy WWA Wake Park Triple Crown 2015 (#MEWPTC) at Miami Watersports complex will be $20,000 with the majority of that focused on the highly competitive and much anticipated Pro Men’s Features event.

In addition to this amazing purse for all of the pro riders, the Open Men’s and Open Women’s athletes will now have a chance to earn cash for landing on the podium. Thanks to Monster Army and their Paid to Podium program, any amateur athlete age 13 and over that has signed up and completed their profile on Monster Army ahead of the event has a chance to earn as much as $500 per event.

All open Men’s and Open Women’s competitors who are at least 13 years old need to sign up and set up their profile ahead of the first event. As an athlete earns podium finishes they ascend through the army ranks and qualify for increased podium payouts. For the Monster Energy Wake Park Triple Crown events the base payout for making the podium will be –

In addition to the largest wake park event purse in North America, for the first time this series will visit two new parks; Miami Watersports Complex in Miami, Florida and Velocity Island Park in Sacramento, California. Both parks have incredibly unique facilities and will play host to amazing events.

In its 6th year the WPTC guarantees to further set the standard for quality events and athletic performances at wake park events on a global scale. This year, top name riders such as Tom Fooshee (USA), Chandler Powell (USA), Daniel Grant (THA), Aaron Gunn (AUS) and James Windsor (AUS) will travel to these three unique cable parks to compete for the individual event titles and the Wake Park Triple Crown overall series championship.

Overall points will be awarded based on each rider’s finish at each stop, accumulating points over the three-stop series for the opportunity of winning the 2015 Wake Park Triple Crown Overall Championship.
