Wakeboarding/Wakeskating & Academics

Groveland, Florida – July 18, 2013 – WWC, World Wakeboard Center teams up with Montverde Academy to offer both FULL TIME wakeboard and/or wakeskate training along with college-preparatory high school education.  Students attempting to prepare for college can now continue their education at one of the most prestigious private school in Florida while advancing their wakeboarding and/or wakeskating skills through the quality daily program offered at WWC, World Wakeboard Center.

It may be hard to believe but, students will attend school all morning and wakeboard/wakeskate all afternoon!! ….in Florida!! It’s a dream come true for International Students who desire to continue their education in preparation for college in the United States. Montverde Academy is a certified SEVIS school, providing qualified and accepted applicants with the required documentation to study in the United States under the F1 Student VISA.  There are two semesters per academic year.  The first, beginning August 21, 2013 and second, Jauary 7, 2014. The WWC program is all-inclusive providing wakeboard/wakeskate training from professional coaches (Ryan Anderson, Reed Hansen, Andy Hansen), food, lodging, fitness training, skills training and much more.
