Fun Facts: The Brian Grubb Edition

It’s not a stretch to call Brian Grubb the pioneer of wakeskating. What’s wakeskating? Think skateboarding meets the water.

Grubb is currently having a stellar season in his sport. He recently won back-to-back titles at the Nautique Masters and Nautique Pro Am. Those wins came after a memorable winter season, when he took wakeskating to the snow, even wakeskating ice formations and glaciers in Cape Cod and Bosnia.

The New Hampshire native started in wake when he was 11. He loves Instagram but dislikes Facebook. He’s into rock and heavy metal music right now, Mexican is his favorite food, and “Point Break” is his favorite movie.
