You could say that Parks Bonifay has spent most of his life in (or on) the water. His first time on water skis? Six months old. His first victory? Age 12, at the 1994 worlds in Islamorada, Florida, in the junior boys division.
The Winter Haven, Florida, native, whose brother Shane is also a professional wakeboarder, says his secret talent is making “an amazing grilled cheese.” He can’t go a day without boiled peanuts, his favorite movie is “Dazed and Confused” and he’s allergic to cats and Nickelback.
