Huge Turnout Expected At The Carnival
Wakeboarding's Premier Rail Contest Draws Most Riders Ever

Orlando, Fla. — Over 40 riders are expected to compete in The Projects rail
park for The Carnival on May 8-10 to determine who will win the coveted
Carnival Belt.

Several new structures have been created including the “Fox Transfer” to
banked rail, “Red Bull Step Up” rail and “Alliance 100-foot Flat Rail.”
Riders got the chance to practice today, including returning champion Parks
Bonifay, fresh out of the atmosphere from his recent skydiving certification
with Adam Errington and Red Bull. Bonifay will have his hands full to defend
his title this year, with the level of rail riding reaching new heights
across the entire field.

Other invited riders with a secured spot for Friday's competition will be
Shane Bonifay, Keith Lidberg, Danny Harf, JD Webb, Robby Jacques, Shawn
Watson, Aaron Rathy and Collin Harrington. Thursday’s action begins with all
qualifiers battling through heats, with only eight riders making it to join
the invited riders on Friday.
