Loudon, TN (February 27, 2019) – The World Wake Association ( WWA) and Malibu Boats are proud to announce the Malibu Factory Smoky Mountain Pro presented by Rockstar Energy will return to Loudon, Tennessee for the third consecutive year on Saturday, July 6, 2019. The waters of the Tennessee River are quickly becoming home to the world’s top Pro Men and Pro Women riders behind the world-class Malibu Boats manufacturing facility. New for 2019, the event will be a 4-star WWA Wakeboard World Series ( WBWS) ranked event including a total of $60,000 in prize money up for grabs – the largest amount of prize money seen on Watts Bar Lake.
The Malibu Factory Smoky Mountain Pro has quickly become a hometown favorite for those near to Malibu’s headquarters and manufacturing facility located just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. Whether spectators are packing the shoreline or coming by boat for a front row seat, the energy is kept at an all-time high as champions are crowned at the birthplace of Malibu’s legendary innovations.

The Malibu Factory Smoky Mountain Pro will serve as the third stop of the WWA WBWS, attracting an international field of elite riders making their mark on the sport and chasing the overall 2019 WBWS title.
