Progression in the sport of wakeboarding can come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes to achieve it we might have to take a really, really big step backwards in order to do so, too. Trevor Hansen, who is still nursing an ankle injury and only doing wake jumps and 180s at the moment, took some huge steps backwards the other day in order to progress. He learned how to do a proper stalefish grab. Apparently Trevor, one of the most talented riders in the world, had never really gotten into one of the most basic moves in all of boardsports. But he's pumped that after all these years he's finally learned it. Congrats, Trevor, from all of us at Alliance, your progress is well deserved.
