Have you ever wanted to take a week off of work to go wakeboarding, surfing, ride dirt bikes, go to the X Games, and party with a bunch of top action sports athletes? Well the good people at Spy Optic made dreams come true in a very big way with the 8th edition of Spy Boot Camp.

The 2010 Spy Boot Camp went down last week in sunny San Diego as 10 lucky winners from around the states were treated to an all expense paid 6-day, 5-night stay in a beachfront San Diego mansion. While in town the lucky crew was treated to a day of surfing, dirt bike riding, and wakeboarding, which we took part in. They also spent a day cruising the X Games in Los Angeles.

How does someone get an opportunity like this? Well 9 shop rats from across the U.S. compete in a sales contest from June 1st to June 30th. Sell lots of Spy sunglasses and you have a pretty good chance of going to the Boot Camp. You don’t work at a retail store that sells Spy? Well that’s ok because one lucky chap is chosen from a round of random photo submissions.

Here’s a list of the winners and the stores they represent.

Justin D. – Midway Chevrolet
Amanda E. – U Motors
Audrey M. – Sunrise Surfshop
Kenneth W. – Texas Ski Ranch
Amanda C. – Maui Nix
Collin F. – Toronto Life Square
Brett S. – Spareparts
Sara G. – Campbells in the Village
Kenny L. – Earth and Ocean
Sean S. – Consumer Winner from Amarillo, TX

Check out these photos from the Wake Day where Jimmy LaRiche and Melissa Marquardt were there to show off their moves and give a few pointers to the campers. Professional snowboarder Stevie Bell even came to hang out for the day.
