The New Performance
Although it’s been open for a couple weeks, the new version of Performance Ski and Surf in Orlando hadn’t yet had a proper grand re-opening party. That changed last week before Wake Games as Performance hosted riders, friends, family, industry insiders, and even a few legends to officially celebrate the new store. The event featured a BBQ sponsored by Liquid Force (with burgers grilled by none other than Danny Hampson) and a raffle with limited edition, Performance inspired boards from both Slingshot and Ronix.

Welcome to the new shop
Performance has been a staple of the wakeboard scene in Orlando since it opened in 1989 – you have all undoubtedly seen the signature “P” logo sticker on the boards of pros who are part of the Performance family. Now with a new store Performance is better than ever. This isn’t just an upgrade, it’s an overhaul. The displays are gorgeous and finding what you’re looking for is a breeze. The new store is huge, full of tons of stuff, and staffed with some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable people you will meet. If you’re ever in Orlando you need to do yourself a favor and check it out.

Old school…memories of Spray and Hit It come to mind. Not that any of the young guys would catch those references.
