BT working it behind the signature Byerly Edition 210 Nautique

25 of the world’s best wakeskaters killed it today behind the Nautique 210 Byerly Icon Edition boat, kicking off day one of the 2011 Rockstar Byerly Toe Jam at The Projects outside of Orlando, Florida.

The four-man head-to-head final consisted of Brian Grubb vs. Stu Shinn and Nick Taylor vs. Reed Hansen. Taylor rode amazing all day with several clean moves like his toeside backside three, but his finals run was not enough to take down Hansen. Grubb also advanced past Shinn, even with Shinn’s hammers like his clean frontside big spin.

The head-to-head final was everything we hoped for — a complete throw-down between the two winningest boat riders in Toe Jam history. Grubb threw down first and Hansen followed with an equally impressive run. The winner will be announced on Saturday evening at 9 p.m. during the Arnette Awards Party in downtown Orlando at The Social.

Scott Byerly was way impressed with what he saw today, “The riding today was on a higher level than I’ve ever seen,” Byerly said. “It’s amazing what these guys are doing out there. They definitely made myself and the Byerly boat proud to host a throwdown like this.”
