Having spent the majority of his life getting towed around cable parks all over the world, Daniel Grant may very well be the Parks Bonifay of park riding. Like Parks was behind the boat in his mid-teens when he burst onto the pro scene, Daniel is a complete natural and there is seemingly nothing he can’t do. Granted, there are some things he won’t do… but there’s a difference between can’t and won’t. Not only can Daniel do things other riders only dream about, but he makes them look way, way easier than they are. As he’s gotten older his creativity has continued to evolve, which has only meant more jaw-dropping entertainment for the rest of us. From his X-Games Real Wake part to contest wins to all of the editorial and video coverage, Daniel killed it this year in ways that only he can. While these awards were determined well before his full-length web edit “Tao” was released, you need to check it out right now; it is just further evidence as to why Daniel is the 2015 Alliance Wake Park Rider of the Year. It seems like for the past few years we’ve continually said “we can’t wait to see what’s next” with Daniel because he is so young. Going from 2015 to 2016 the sentiment is still the same.
