Charlotte, NC – A World Championship 2013 MasterCraft X-Star pulled local wakeboarder Adam Fields over a professional level double up to hit a picture perfect Slim Chance 540, earning him First Place in the “Best Trick” competition and an $850.00 cash payout for the 3rd year in a row! Killian Grondon steals the “Big Air” title and a $550 cash payout for nailing a monster Air Raley! Wylie’s Wicked Wakefest continues to grow in popularity every year by once again setting an event record crowd with over 200 spectators! The energetic crowd stood witness to over $2,000 in prize money awarded for Big Air and Best Trick Contests with a bold twist.. Double Ups only! A big Thank You to MasterCraft Boat’s team riders Rusty Malinoski, Andrew Adkinson, and Josh Palma for participating and helping make the event one to remember!

MasterCraft Boat’s 3 Time World Champion Andrew Adkinson called the event, “an awesome success,” and claims, “it’s the events like this [Wylie’s Wicked Wakefest] that inspires the next generation of riders and keeps our sport heading in the right direction.”
The Wylie’s Wicked Wakefest event is hosted annually in October by the crew at Charlotte Ski Boats, the Charlotte, NC area MasterCraft Boats dealer. The event format requires riders to hit monster double ups to amplify the show for the Big Air Competition and the Best Trick Competition. Intermittent exhibitions performed by MasterCraft Boat’s Pro Wakeboarders Rusty Malinoski and Josh Palma left spectators in awe as they performed professional level tricks at mind bending heights. The crowd was energized to compete for many free giveaways including a Hyperlite Wakeskate, Life vest, Mastercraft Apparel and Accessories, as well as many event shirts.
Charlotte Ski Boats Owner: Lee Levandowski couldn’t be more excited about how well the event turned out and stated “It has been inspiring to witness the growth of the event over the years; riders progressing and growing up, building the water sports communities by introducing friends to one another, seeing the crowd and riders interact with the pros. I am grateful to be able to have such a fun event in my back yard that so many people enjoy!”
