September marks the end of a lot of good things. On September 26th, the World Wake Surfing Championships took place in Parker, AZ, at the Blue Water Hotel and Casino.  This is the World Series of  Wake Surfing, where winners are crowned for their season efforts. Athletes from all of the world make the journey to compete for the titles with the worlds best!

There was no shortage of heat… with 110 degree temperatures the athletes needed to stay cool before bringing the heat. The conditions were variable throughout the day but cleaned up nicely in the afternoon for the pro finals. The brand new Centurion Ri237(s) were weighted to the max bringing the most competitive wave on offer. And the athletes definitely delivered.

Year in and year out the competition progresses along with the quality of the wave. This year by far surpassed years past. 3-shuvs, 5-shuvs, 7-shuvs, 5-big spins, 7-big spins, surf style shuvs, surf style big spins and styled out grabbed airs seemed to be the new go to combos.

To say the least we were impressed with the competitive riding and stoked to be on site to cover the action. You all killed it! Check out the images…
