The Byerly Speedster was built to serve all levels of riders. With its wide body the board is extremely stable and stays in the wave well. The Speedster also has no problem generating speed or getting back in the pocket when you fade too far back. It seemed a bit sticky and didn’t have the greatest pop for me. I would put it in the cruiser category and a board that could live on any boat. It’s beefy composite structure will keep it safe from any beatings you throw at it.
