Trevor Miller

We are proud to announce that our surf team will also be including Trevor Miller this year. He is an exceptional rider and a great guy. We asked President of Skier’s Choice the manufacture of Supra and Moomba boats what he thought of this new addition. Here is what he had to say. “As the market of wake surfing continues to grow we are also growing to provide quality boats with the cleanest waves, with that said we also want great people to represent us in this market and Trevor Miller is the perfect guy for the job.”

We got to ask Trevor a few questions…

SUPRA: When did you start surfing?
Trevor: I first started surfing in 2007

SUPRA: Whats your favorite part about this growing sport of wake surfing?
Trevor: I don’t know that I have a favorite part of wakesurfing, I love all of it. Over the last few years it has gone from a hobby, to an obsession and now finally it has become a lifestyle for me. My wife and I seem to always be counting down until the next summer starts and dread the end of it. I cannot begin to express how blessed I feel to be were I am today in the sport

SUPRA: Rumor has it you like to take long surf sets? Whats the longest set you’ve ever taken?
Trevor: The longest set ever was my Guinness attempt a few years back. We finally got word that it wasn’t accepted due to a technical issue with video footage for proof of the attempt. Kind of a bummer but I know that I surfed for 24 hrs 6 min with less than an hour of break.

SUPRA: Man I complain about my legs hurting after a 30 minute set. haha what did you have to do to get in shape for riding that long?
Trevor: In the off season I train at Crossfit Kenmore in Washington. As the season starts and I am on the road it gets pretty hard to keep training but I do the best I can.

SUPRA: Trevor, why Supra?
Trevor: I chose to work with Supra and continue to work with Supra for many reasons. First and foremost I believe in the product. The boats work amazing, throw an amazing wake, are reliable and look great. The other reason I chose to work with Supra is because of the people. Everyone from the team riders like Trevor and Reed Hansen to the VP of sales Dan Miller to the President Rick Tinker and even the dealers have been great. There are times in the boating industry you just don’t get a good vibe from people. That is definetly not the case with anyone in this company.

SUPRA: What boat are you currently running?
Trevor: I just sold my Supra SC450 a few months back and ordered up my new SG450. I am so excited to get my new boat!

SUPRA: How would you describe the wave on it?
Trevor: For me it is the perfect wave, the front of the wave has a great transition that is nicely rounded for surface spins and tech tricks while the back of the wave has an awesome lip and a ton of power for huge airs!

SUPRA: If you had a dream day what would it be?
Trevor: Right now I would give anything to spend a great day on the water in some place warm!

Okay speed round…
SUPRA: Coke or Pepsi?
Trevor: Pepsi

SUPRA: Socks on or off when you sleep?
Trevor: No socks, nobody likes sweaty feet!

SUPRA: Bill Gates or Steve Jobs?
Trevor: Bill Gates duh…. I live in Seattle.

SUPRA: Redbull or Monster?
Trevor: Just give me a sugar fee anything, energy drinks are my vice for sure.
