2015 Surf Expo Demo Days

The now annual Demo Day for Surf Expo went down at OWC yesterday with hundreds of dealers and buyers showing up to try out a bunch of the latest gear. SUP boards lined the shore of beginner cable, while new boards from Hyperlite, O’Brien, Jobe, and Slingshot could be tested on the advanced park.

Despite the heat and humidity, everybody had a good time testing out all the goods, while also chowing on some pizza. The highlight of the day didn’t come from wakeboarding or stand up paddle boarding though, it came from the incomparable Shaun Murray (go figure). The man/myth/legend/ninja formerly known as The House of Style decided to do some laps with HO’s newest disc towable toy. Then he decided to hit the kicker with it. Of course, he landed it. Classic, Murray.
