What the pro says
“I’ve worked with LF for so long and I know what type of board I like. This is it. The fact we were able to make a board flexy and smooth for rails, but keep it fast enough and still have power for the boat is awesome. Keeping a wood core was important and having new technology like the vector net let us create the most versatile board yet. It’s a solid all-around board and a ton of fun to ride.” – Shane Bonifay

Tester Comments
“Stable on the water and super fast on the rails. Lots of fun.” – Gus
“The Shane is a really consistent board that I think anyone could hop on and have a good time.” – Tony
“This board does everything well, I really liked it.” – Trevor
“Good times had by all.” – Robby

What the pro says

“Shane and I have a new family of boards called the Dose. They look similar, but there is a lot that’s different between them: from channels, to stiffness, and tip shape to rocker. The board has an all wood core, but it’s thin and very lightweight. You can ride my board anywhere, but it it’s built more for the boat because it’s got a stiffer flex pattern and has more defined channels. If you want to charge the park every now and again it has the LF Grind base and polyurethane sidewalls, so it can take a beating, too.” – Shawn Watson

Tester Comments
“Really good all around boat board. Another Watson gem.” – Tony
“Like a lot of Watson’s boards this version is easy to ride and would work for most riders.” – Trevor
“A little loose but a lot of fun.” – Robby

What the pro says
“The best analogy I have to explain my board is putting your thumb over a hose to make the water shoot faster. The single to double concave creates a ‘shooting’ of the water called a “Venturi” and the board accelerates  off the top of the wake by rushing water through the single concave to the double concave hourglass rails. Mix all that in with a progressive 5-stage rocker and you’ve got the perfect board for anyone wanting to shoot the moon!” – Bob Soven

Tester Comments
“The Next is aggressive, but in a good way. You won’t feel overpowered by it.” – Gus
“A narrow board that rides big, I liked it a lot.” – Tony
“Aggressive board with a lot of speed, but it’s also very responsive and has a lot of pop! Definitely one of my favorites.” – Trevor
“It’s like Bob’s hair… a bit wild, but manageable. A good shape for a more intense rider.” – Robby
