Well Alliance Wakeboard Magazine wanted to find out and see what a wakeboard contest could be without all the extra spinning and flipping. Would riders be able to think of new ways to do the most simple of tricks? The Alliance Less Than Five contest pushed riders to think differently about their riding and wakeboarding in general. I feel like some pros can make 5s, 7s and the occasional 9 off the D-Up look nice, but once they go past 9 forget about locking in to a proper grab. I’m glad they kept this event simplistic tho!
