Everything’s come full circle. On Aug. 31 – Sept. 3, all of today’s best wakeskaters will be competing in the Byerly Toe Jam, which is returning back to The Projects outside of Orlando, Florida where it all began eight years ago.

This four-day lifestyle event will feature four different categories of riding with champions crowned in each. This will also determine who is the best wakeskater on the planet, because the rider who accumulates the most points overall will take home top honors. 2011 boasts the biggest purse ever at a wakeskating event with $20,000 up for grabs. Anyone is welcome to attend, but if you can’t make it, be sure to tune into http://byerlytoejam.com for a live webcast!

The founder of the Toe Jam, Scott Byerly is impressed with all the new talent, “More people are entering, with new faces and sick riding,” Byerly said. “We’ve brought it back to The Projects so the vibe that we started with still remains. We want everybody to have a good time and see the best riding, that is what the Toe Jam will always be known for.”

Everyone will celebrate on Saturday night at 9 p.m. at The Social in downtown Orlando for the Arnette Awards Party and the winners will be honored. Riders are encouraged to register now, in order to avoid late fees assessed after 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday Aug. 30.

For all other info, including registration, go to http://byerlytoejam.com. Also please follow @byerlytoejam on Twitter. The new Facebook page will be ready soon.

Scott Byerly would like to thank Rockstar Energy Drink, O’Neill, Arnette, Nautique, Nike, The Projects, System 2.0, Grooveshark, and ESPN Radio’s Kevin Sutton Show on AM 1080 in Central Florida.
