THE ESTEEMED 50TH MASTERS WAKEBOARD
TOURNAMENT CONCLUDES TODAY AT CALLAWAY GARDENS
 
 
Pine Mountain, GA (May 24, 2009) – Today’s conclusion of the 50th Masters Wakeboard Tournament® at Callaway Gardens brought four new Masters Champions to the forefront of the competition including Nautique skier Whitney McClintock, Karina Nowlan, Nicola Butler and Andrew Adkison.
 
Nicola Butler was crowned the champion in Women’s Wakeboard with 69.33 points.
 
In the Men’s disciplines, William Asher, Jimmy Siemers, Freddy Krueger and Andrew Adkison were all named champions of the 50th Masters in their respective events. Andrew Adkison won Men’s Wakeboard with 61.00 points.

An invitation to compete in the Masters is universally considered an acknowledgement of achievement for reaching the pinnacle in a given watersports discipline – only the world's most elite athletes compete at the Masters.
