Liquid Force Co-Founder Tony Finn Stepping Down as GM; Will Remain as Sales, Marketing and Brand Consultant

After 21 years of running Liquid Force, Tony Finn has decided to change roles. “I have been extremely lucky to have been able to direct and guide such an awesome brand and work with awesome people for this long,” says Finn. “Jimmy and I founded Liquid Force when we were riding at Mt. Baldy 21 years ago because we are deeply passionate about wakeboarding and we wanted to spread the love. Since that time, I have been able to travel all over the world multiple times to share the stoke of Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing, Wakeskating and with thousands of people. It has been an epic experience!”

Although Tony is handing over the General Management duties to the current Senior VP of Sales, Don Wallace, he will still be deeply involved with the brand in terms of brand development, new products, marketing concepts and International sales.
“ I am only going to do the fun stuff,” says Finn.

John Archer, President of Liquid Force’s parent company Motion Water Sports, says, “Tony’s enthusiasm, passion and vision have been invaluable to not only Liquid Force, but our larger business as well. We are happy that he will still be involved with the brand moving forward, as well as helping us to look for new growth opportunities.”

Jimmy Redmon, Liquid Force’s cofounder, will have an expanded role at Liquid Force in addition to his current role of Senior Vice President of R and D. Jimmy states, “The future is bright for Liquid Force and the fact that Tony will still be involved as he also moves onto other things is a testament to the importance that MWS puts on the culture of the brand and the solid respect for its founders. Our next chapter of Liquid Force will be tremendous as we continue our path of Relentless Innovation and spreading the stoke of Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing and Kiteboarding around the world!”
