GREENWOOD, SC (June 20, 2017) – Recently Pleasurecraft Engine Group employees volunteered during Camp Kemo’s Lake Fun Day, providing a towboat powered by PCM for kids to enjoy a day on Lake Greenwood boating, tubing, and swimming.

Camp Kemo is Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital’s annual week-long summer camp for cancer patients ages 5-18 and their siblings. The camp, staffed by Palmetto Health’s physicians, nurses, and volunteers gives campers the opportunity to hike, swim, and boat along with many other camp activities.

Pleasurecraft President Mark McKinney stated, “The Pleasurecraft team is passionate about serving our local community and Camp Kemo is one of the events that we have the privilege of being a part of each year. I personally enjoy taking these kids out on the water and seeing them have fun on the boat. I am grateful to Camp Kemo for allowing us to take part in making a positive impact on the lives of these children and their families.”
